This photography tour will inspire those with a passion for hard light and strong contrast, typical with iconic black and white photography. We will visit the Pnyka, National Gardens, the Changing of the guards and Psiri for coffee and feedback. Throughout the tour we will be looking for patterns and repetition in botanical subjects, urban animals, architecture and events. You will learn how to improve your composition and camera angel to create strong timeless images with light and shadow.

The Golden Hour 

Evening ride 17:00-20:30 (3.30 h)

• Psiri
• Temple of Zeus
• Pnyka

Fridays include Art Number 23 Gallery reception after the tour.

Price: 80€

This photography tour will appeal to those with a passion for long soft light. Often referred to as the ‘golden hour’ because the quality of light at this time of day is warmer and red. We will visit Psiri, the Temple of Zeus, Pnyka and Art Number 23 Gallery for a reception and feedback. Throughout the tour we will be looking for ways to capture this golden light and learn how to balance natural light with artificial light. This is the best time of day for natural photography because the contrast is less, and you will learn how to use this light to enhance colours and create flattering portraits and rich saturated landscapes.
